I was a big fan of Rohit since day 1 of his cricket. He played a superb knock with Sachin in CBT series or something vs Australia when India lost 2 wickets he built partnership with Sachin. Then in World T20 championship series in West Indies he was the solo batsman who mande 80 runs while all others got out shows his mental strength. Initially his international series was hit or miss.

Then I researched where he was born and found that his mother was from Visalakshi Nagar in Vizag just below Kailasagiri 

But one goosebumps thing is he was groomed by legends in Deccan Chargers...he played on par with Gilly, Laxman, Gibbs, Symonds, Afridi etc..after going to MI he became a different person altogether where I lost interest

He was a class act in his initial days, cover drives in the gaps with fluent technic. 

Later when started as opener, changed his style, more aggressive approach. Rest we know the history

Yes bro. I’m the biggest fan of sachin. Watched live all the matches.

This match Sachin century is his first century vs Aus in Australia. 
 

second final he scored 91 something while batting first and was caught at short mid on by ponting and it was a blinder. Unfortunate 

This series Rohit got bigger fame as we won the series eventhough he played well in t20 Wc 2007
