psycopk Posted May 28 Report Posted May 28 Visakhapatnam-విశాఖ నుంచి అబుదాబికి విమాన సర్వీసు 28-05-2025 Wed 06:01 | Both States జూన్ 13 నుంచి విశాఖ - అబుదాబీ మధ్య సర్వీసు సోమ, బుధ, శుక్ర, ఆదివారాల్లో అబుదాబీ సర్వీసు విశాఖ - భువనేశ్వర్ మధ్య విమాన సర్వీసుకు ఒడిశా సర్కార్ సహకారం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ నుంచి అంతర్జాతీయంగా ప్రయాణించే వారికి విమానయాన సంస్థలు శుభవార్తను అందించాయి. విశాఖపట్నం నుండి అబుదాబీకి అంతర్జాతీయ విమాన సర్వీసులు జూన్ 13 నుంచి ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి. ఈ సర్వీసు వారానికి నాలుగు రోజులు అందుబాటులో ఉంటుందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. సోమ, బుధ, శుక్ర, ఆదివారాల్లో ఉదయం 8.20 గంటలకు విమానం విశాఖ విమానాశ్రయానికి చేరుకుని, అక్కడి నుంచి ఉదయం 9.50 గంటలకు అబుదాబీకి బయలుదేరుతుందని వెల్లడించారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ నుండి అబుదాబీకి ఇప్పటి వరకు ప్రత్యక్ష విమాన సర్వీసులు లేకపోవడంతో రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రయాణికులు హైదరాబాద్, బెంగళూరు లేదా చెన్నై మీదుగా అబుదాబీకి వెళ్లవలసి వచ్చేది. అలాగే, దేశీయంగా విశాఖ - భువనేశ్వర్ మధ్య విమాన సర్వీసును నడిపేందుకు ఒడిశా ప్రభుత్వం సహకారం అందించింది. ఈ సర్వీసు జూన్ 15 నుంచి ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. మధ్యాహ్నం 1.55 గంటలకు విశాఖకు చేరుకుని, తిరిగి 2.25 గంటలకు భువనేశ్వర్కు బయలుదేరుతుంది. Emirates Airlines, which conducted a technical feasibility study to launch a direct flight service between Vijayawada and Dubai, has expressed satisfaction with the available technical amenities at the airport. However, the major drawback of Gannavaram Airport is the absence of an aerobridge, which allows passengers to board the airplane directly from the airport terminal. Speaking to TOI, Vijayawada airport director M Lakshmikanth Reddy said, "A three-member team from Emirates Airlines conducted the technical feasibility study and assessed the technical amenities available at the airport. While the Emirates team expressed satisfaction with the airport's runway length, automated baggage handling system, and other services, they pointed out the lack of a dedicated aerobridge."
