This is how I had started. Real money is in long term buy and hold. Comparatively less effort as well. Your mind will be blown how much money you can make long term. People overestimate how much money they make short term and underestimate how much money can be made long term. You can follow me here https://stocktwits.com/thelasthope Always do your own research though. i see you do a lot a transactions buying/selling...not being a day trader doesn't make you are a long term investor... May be not in the traditional sense. Most of my holdings have been for multiple years and will hold them for another decade. That being said, I do move money around quite a bit when I see better opportunities or a huge market dip. My selling is usually to reduce my cost basis. For example, I waited for ELF to fall from 216 till 100. I bought heavy in 60s and 50s. When it recovered to 115, I sold the ones I bought for 100 and used that money for other opportunities. But the ones I bought for 60 and below would go long term. I also have some play money in IRA for swing trades as I don't have to pay taxes. I also keep adding to my long positions. Like for RDW, my cost basis was 3.3 and then it ran up to 26. And when it dropped below 10 again, I kept buying. Not selling RDW till it reaches 1500 I am up over 50% YTD in both individual and IRA with minimal tax liabilities. 5 Quote

yogdenon Posted June 30 Report Posted June 30 I’ve also been trying to manage day trading without spending whole days watching the charts. I started testing https://axiomtrade.xyz/axiom-solana-trading-bot/ recently, and it helped automate some of my trades on Solana. It’s not perfect, but cuts down on screen time and still lets me mess around with short-term trades. Worth a shot if you’re into crypto and want something to run in the background. Quote
