Who is right anedhi debate.  But trump first announced ceasfire before India or Pakistan’s.  After he announced India gave statement about ceasefire. At least he was aware of whole conversation between two countries.  So here don’t trust modi and infact India disagreed USA involvement after three days of ceasefire

India kept saying no mediation is needed since long time not just before or after 3 days !!

 Pak called trump to mediate and ready for a ceasefire as their nuclear bases got hit. It is also true we had some defense losses. Trump called Modi and asked for ceasefire. What transpired between them we don’t know. May be he offered better TARRIFS deals, or threatened with sanctions or more TARRIFS . We all know his ego is big. He immediately announced the mediation. Whatever we want to call it - either carrot or stick. 
Based on the incidents later - Trump asking Apple to not setup factory in India, he was probably upset with Modi. 

I don’t believe this video, but something transpired where India agreed but trump got little piased off too.
