krishnaaa Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 I have had some not so good experiences with people in India. They were sweet talkers and deceitful. One thing that was common among them was that they were all Sai Baba followers. Is this anecdotal? Or have you guys faced the same? 2 Quote

DonnyStrumpet Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 Do you always stereotype bro? I’m not a devotee of that God. But I have seen your posts in the past. You take one experience and extrapolate it to a whole group. No offense intended. Just an observation. Hope you take it as constructive criticism. 1 1 Quote

To take it as constructive criticism, it has to be true right? I have had many experiences for the past 15 years. Even then, I am trying to confirm....not stating it as a fact. Quote

Small percentage of outliers in the bell curve in any community lead to large outcomes. And this small percentage variations matter. Quote

Hindu temples or Sai baba temples lo rituals untaayi.. they don’t do sermons like in a church or mosque.. so, temples have no role in shaping the behavior of their followers, even a small % of it.. aa area lo ye temple unte aa temple ki ekkuva veltaaru.. the most we are seeing recently is the sermons of chaganti and garikipati.. and they are not really doing in temples but on tv.. They don't care their older parents. Even they can't tell their kids will take care them in old age. Because they don't want to learn hard way practice. Here is the proof, when we don't love/ respect/ pray our Mom/ Dad, the same respect with Aunt/ Uncle also, correct? For Telugu folks, Vemana Brahmam garu Raghavendra swami are there. They are like own telugu spiritual fathers with Kalajnana, Padya and something. We don't have 4 mandirs in each village/ town for these great folks. But they have babayi/ uncle mandirs everywhere for business. They want to see all hindu gods in babayi, lol. But they can't see with Vemana/ Brahmam/ Raghavendra. We have proverb also, ammaku tinDi peTTaleanoaDu attaku gaajulu peTTaaDu anTa. lol. Even they say we are not hindu we don't come under devadaya sakha. lol. Quote
