Hi Friends,

Can you please help me with the below scenario.

I have a current approved Eb2 filing from my previous employer, my new job role only qualifies for EB3 filing and not Eb2. So if I start my PERM process with my new org in EB3 what are the downsides as my new company is saying they will not file in Eb2 in future even if I get promoted to a eb2 role and they just clarified, they would refile a eb2 application only if the eb2 dates are coming close to my priority date and I am in a role of eb2 at that time. My problem now is shall i wait to get into a new role that supports eb2 for which I need to wait another 12 months to look for internal roles and then start the perm process or just start the perm now in eb3 and see how things progress, but to look for new roles in eb2 internally, my company policy is wait time of 18 months in new role..I joined this role 6 months back and need to wait atleast another 12 months. Also historically my companys legal team takes additional 12 months from time they start the perm processing to the time they file PERM application with USCIS. Thanks in advance.

PD yepudo chepthe better. DB will decide next steps

Yes, PD would be helpful. But in current scenario EB2 aina EB3 aina same situation. manollu rendu level chesestharu dont worry. Dont depend on this make a decision. It should be of least concern due to the queue length.
