shagun Posted July 30 Report Posted July 30 We are going through divorce process and my wife is cleverly trying to hold the negotiations until green card is received so that I don’t have anything to fight for as laws are clearly towards women. Pls suggest on how I can hold/delay my I-485 for green card. We already received EAD and AP Quote

7691 Posted July 30 Report Posted July 30 Tammudu divorce itself is very murky process. Let it go and let her get the green card and you move on. anything you do to stop anything will backfire at you at some point. are kids involved?? use AI to get these answers tammudu Quote

We already received EAD and AP you can request for a withdrawal, unfortunately that means ur wife has to sign the withdrawal request....or you can choose to withdraw the whole petition. Be careful with this option as you are OBLIGATED to file 485 within one year of your date becoming current...Otherwise future H1 petitions wont be approved. Quote
Dippam Posted July 30 Report Posted July 30 we can withdraw the application for dependent. I did it due to multiple filings in different categories. It was a simple letter and receipt #. Chck with attorney there is an option. In my case I did it myself. Quote
Coconut Posted July 30 Report Posted July 30 Let her live here Anna…why do you want to kill her immigration status? It will be easy for both of you to navigate easily post divorce in US than India Quote

Plan for a india trip before 3 months of expiry be happy with her for 2 months and don't tell her and leave India carrying your wife AP and EAD. File for 485 revocation with a attorney. India lo she may file a case or try to come to USA and all doors are closed for your wife. You file a divorce case in india she will come begging to you after a year for compromise. don't give any alimony court order chesina Quote
MangalamSrinu Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Indian wife bitches think they are smart. I have seen many friends who lost peace of life with the psyco indian wife. teach her a lesson filing a divorce case in india best approach don't settle in police station or elders they will squeeze money and threaten you with case.
