Who do you think is US tariffs targeting? American consumers is one side, that means it's also targeting producers that sell to American consumers as well. Trade is a two way street.

they can make exception in certain cases and india has the right to raise points like its huge poor population, food security program, people dependent on agri etc there will be some protectionism. 

us tarrifs are targeting only one thing - satisfy some1's ego and serves nothing else. backlash will surely come

Agri is different, India has the shittiest communist policy in agriculture. You can't even sell freely in another state, forget another country. This is about poultry and processed dairy. There should be give and take in trade.
