You need to understand “department of justice” is different than “Judiciary”.


Dept of Justice comes under the wing of presidency. It is still a branch of executive govt . It is releated to law enforcement. Pam Bondi heads this dept. 
 

Whereas judiciary is a completely independent. It is realeated to courts etc. 

h4 ea is not under the radar of this govt. just because someone filed a lawsuit they will not change stance and support it.

most of the times they will try to defend their govt.
