Chitoor has no.1 of one party and 2 people from top 5 of other party ,a lot of businessmen. chitoor politicians might be the richest in the state ,CBN ,pedireddy,Galla family ,chevireddy , roja ,gali family and current chitoor MLA are very rich.

If you take legacy people you can also add chadalawada krishna murthy as well although his native is Nellore ,he is influential in chitoor district and lives in tirupati ,his house is just beside karunakar reddies house.

But the larger question remains unanswered kadha??

• What did they pluck for decades??

They haven't contributed anything to the particular village/town they hail from. Unlike how German mittlestand companies transformed whole of the Germany after WW-2.

Most of them made money from Hyderabad real estate or Liquor business spread across the state.

Most businessmen in india did nothing for the growth of the country even the big industrialists like Ambani adani run import business from other countries and change the brand name.

Main problems in india is technocrats don't get opportunities  like in China as the existing business culture of baniyas won't let others to dominate and baniya business culture is the most crude and exploitative without any vision for the country.

Compare billionaires in China , most of them are experts in their fields to india who are just brokers.actually it's better in telugu and tamil states where the industrialists are mostly experienced in their field compared to Gujarat or rajastani baniyas.

I heard that the current Chittoor MLA is involved in a lot of fraud in bangalore real estate

History is different ,even Nellore had 2 cms and a lot of political families but currently none of the leaders are good.

I don't know much about him ,he does live mostly in banglore though.
