The other subcastes are very less numerous , each maybe 2-5 percent of reddys . Panta reddys are associated with reddy kingdom , primarily found in nellore , adjoining regions of ongole and chittoor . Desuri reddys are an endogamous sect within Panta reddys . The panta and Desuri reddys are the most entrepreneurial of any reddy clan , their business acumen is unbelievable ( called Nellore Peddareddys ) . Nedurumalli , Nallapureddy , Kotamreddy , Bezawada Gopal Reddy , Vemireddy are some of the major names . All most all nellore reddy businesses are Panta reddy , except Aparna builders who are from sub subcaste Desuri .

Neravati are found in parts of Nandyal , Markapur , but less numerous , nothing of note .

Bhumanchi reddys are also known as Anaparthy reddys , restricted to godavari . 

Velanati reddys hail from Velanadu or Guntur Prakasam region . Same as other clans , nothing of note .

Kodithi reddys are dominant in Anantapur , Pulivendula , Rayachoti iand Kamalapuram areas . Nandyala and Banaganapalle have this sect too . This sect somehow became most politically dominant and business growth , their emergence being linked to Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy and YSR rise . They have overpowered all other sects to a large extent in Kurnool , Kadapa and Anantapur . They were traditionally not as dominant as motati , but have come to coopt motatis in politics , while effeciently sidelining Pedakantis and Pakanatis ( Pakanatis are still dominant in Chittoor though ) .

Gudati reddys are dominant in Nalgonda , Rangareddy , Nizamabad and sporadically across Telangana . Many great leaders - Indra Reddy , Sabita , Ranga Reddy , Chenna Reddy , Alimineti , Komatireddy , Podduturi Sudarshan Redd yare from this subcaste . Only reddy subcaste with substantial film industry presence as Dil Raju, ,   Nitin are from this clan . They are traditionally most populous around Hyderabad and surroundings .

Gone or Gona are mainly in north tg . T Anjaiah aka Ramakrishna Reddy  and KNR constructions owner are of this subcaste only .

Oruganti in coastal , akuthota in chittoor , sajjana in anantapur and Saudar ( subsubsect in Motati only endogamous in Saudar though ultimately part of Motati ) are minor subcastes .

To sum up , Motati are dominant in Mahabubnagar , Nalgonda , Warangal , Khammam , Kurnool , Guntur , Krishna district area.

Pakanati in Chittoor , Nellore , parts of Kadapa , parts of Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar .

Pedakanti are numerous , but not really dominant anywhere as other subcastes , maybe in some pockets of Kurnool , Kadapa and Chittoor .

Panta - Nellore , Kodithi - Rayalaseema except Chittoor 

Bhumanchi - only godavari and Gudati - Nizamabad , Medak , Rangareddy , Nalgonda .

 

Businesses are mostly owned by Pakanati , Motati , Panta , Kodithi .

Roughly 4.5 percent in TG as per govt report . AP around 5 percent .

 anji reddy before starting dr.reddies had a succesful venture called SOL along with a man from nellore.they had differences and had to part ways , anji reddy was the technical mastermind ,he had experience in IDPL while the other man even though he himself was a good chemist mostly used to finance in the beginning because anji reddy has better knowledge of market.

All these companies like aurobindo,hetero ,divi labs ,msn labs came afterwards.

Interesting how Prakasam jilla does not come up even its next to Nellore, Guntur, and Rayalaseema. Why do they not have same relevance as their neighbours.

Yes , desuru are mainly in coastal nellore and chittoor . After Telangana formation , Motati Reddys started dominating the politics and business , even as gudati , pakanati and gone are sporadically relevant . The case of Kodithi subcaste is interesting , as families like YS , Buggana , Katasani , Mandipalli , Thopudurthi become dominant in Rayalaseema , where as traditionally the numerous Pakanati used to be dominant , with familes like JC , Nallari , Peddireddy etc . Some billionaires are also emerging in this sect , like Narreddy Visweswara Reddy .
