Karpichukontee thelusthadi aa badha or suffering of the family who lost loved ones' lives.. I had close calls several times with stray dogs, and we had 2 German shepherds (mom and son) at home for 20 years. Even in the recent India trip, I had this problem with stray dogs. I totally agree with RGV's view on this, though I don't agree with 99 out of 100 of what he says. If you love stray dogs, leash them/keep them at your home.

You are bringing in everything else except the topic we are discussing. Kids playing outside without worrying about street dogs killing them is a basic need and it has nothing to do about taking responsibility of your kids etc. You cannot include every other issue a country has when discussing on specific topic. In general what you said might be true but when the topic itself is about over population of street dogs, we need to address that and supreme court stepping in right thing to do regardless of how you feel about it.

Did you even read what supreme court mentioned in the ruling? It clearly mentioned capture all stray dogs, vaccinate, sterilize and put them in shelter unlike before where they were releasing these dogs back to same streets after vaccination and sterilizing. The real issue here is lack of shelters to lakhs of street dogs and crores of budget these shelters need every year. Malli occhi according to the constitution of the law of nation ani nuvvu entha cheppina it won't work in current situation because of the level of concern it has become. If you really want to fix this and address the situation, all dog lovers and animal rescue organizations should adopt all these street dogs and give them better life instead of fighting to keep them in streets. Dogs should not be on streets, they should be in your home or living with you if you love them so much, street dogs are not living a happy life to let them live in streets. 

 

Again, I don't want to extend this discussion but this is the best solution until government or people figure out what to do with it. We cannot say we love dogs and then fight to keep them in streets, if you love them so much, give them proper shelter and give them better life.

So the does the same with Dogs too.. if the society of dogs could not take care of these bites then they would be put down as well... the problem is with the manaics who just simply feeds them and leaves on the streets.. if you love them then construct homes for them through crowd funding.. so sad to see the bunch of humans who are moving away from human's life to an animal life thinkin that this is Human...
