Home owner ??? I don’t think that’s a criteria to deny…i know few GC ankuls who claim unemployment benefits and are home owners as well…

GC ane em ledu...H4 and GC EAD's can also apply....criteria is lost job and be available/authorized to work for any future jobs. H1b\s dont qualify based on technicality that authorization is not available for any job. Unemployment benefit is not a public charge. Its a premium paid by u and ur employer to get money in case job is lost....STD type anukovachu.
