Rental Deposit Not Returning... Options?

Is the original tenant even allowed to sublease? Owner didn’t want to give the deposit so he charged the tenant and he charged you.. you should have stopped the last month rent.. 

do you have any sublease agreement? Make a deal with the original tenant.. and ask him to bear 50% of it..

mamulu regular lease lo ne antha adgadu 

just go with somme general attorney and get a letter and send it to him $150 to $200 charge chestahdu general letter notice to take lega actions ani edo untadhi 

don't talk anything to him all rubbish let the lawyer handle this by sending 1 simple letter

All paper work pakka. Actual owner maa vaadi band vesadu... Maa vaadu naaku vesadu. 50-50 split chesam damages. Unnecessary stress enduku ani. 1050 donated anukovadame.

Solved with 50-50%. Maa vaadu reasonable guy but vaadi landlord daggara mosa poyadu.

This is all because of home price drops. Actual owner $550K ki konnadu ippudu $425K ki kuda povatla. EMI kattali so Maa landlord daggara dobbuthunnadu maa vaadu nannu dobbing.

I was ready to pay $500 but inko $500 poyayi but peace of mind migilindi.

Yeah.. the landlord is just trying to squeeze from you the money needed to get the home ready for the next tenant.. 

you should have split the amount based on how much both of you lived in the house..
