Why are you worried about home prices , Are you selling it ? Home is NOT AN INVESTMENT - Thi smust be noted by H1. 
Its for making memories, And home prices are really matter only if you sell. If you have it for long time then dont worry about going up and down. I know a friend who bought a new Jersey home for 800k when to 1 mil 1.5 and last year neighbours listed for 2 and sold. There was a park behind and the plan is  to convert that to affortable housing and the prices now fell down to 700Ks .

Value kavali anthay go buy 600K worth of GOLD or IT Bonds they will give you 1000 a month devident and also grow to 3 mill in 30 years and stay in 800 apartment and enjoy the pool
