Android_Halwa Posted August 31 Report Posted August 31 State ordered CBI enquiry, a welcome decision from the government. KLIS has violated every order in the rule book. According to paper, it was referred as drinking water project and when ever a project is designated as drinking water, the norms, rules and laws won’t apply as usual and BRS govt has flouted every possible rule including environmental and forest to fast track the project setting a vey bad precedent. The project, indeed is a very crucial project for North Telangana and indeed is nessasary. But the way it was built and the approach s not recommended. Quote

Android_Halwa Posted August 31 Report Posted August 31 Kaleshwaram implementation is not a sustainable method, Kaleshwaram borrowings are a burden for next governments. This is the first time in India such a project was undertaken with funding from open market. A project which should have been built over a period of 20 years, was built in just 5 years. delay is not good, but for such multi stage lift projects, should be built over a period of time but not with ik time.
