The original breakeven price for this film is around $2.9 million. The rights were acquired from producer DVV Danayya nearly three years ago for ₹13 crores (approximately $1.6 million USD). At that time, it was a considerable investment, but today, given the buzz, it seems like an easy target for the USA distributor. When interest costs over the last three years are factored in, the film will need to gross at least $5 million to actually break even. However, considering the massive anticipation, the premieres alone are expected to cover most of that figure. The hype surrounding the film is unimagined. Even before its release, it has created an atmosphere of frenzy, with record-breaking advance bookings. Whoever picked up the distribution rights appears set for a jackpot from the opening weekend itself.
