Except Olive oil, avacado, flax seed rest are pro-inflamatory

For Indian cooking which oil do you suggest

Some of the worst inflammatory oils are:

  • Corn oil
  • Soybean oil
  • Sunflower oil
  • Safflower oil
  • Canola oil
  • Any hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil

Haaa…. Years of discussions jarigaayi.. final gaa conclusion yeemante, ye oil aina deep fry style lo use cheesthe 100% danger to health.

but some clear winners are there, for desi style cooking our own groundnut and sesame oil.

And everything else like light cooking topping and dressing, we go for Extravirgin olive oil and avacado oil

Avavado yes. Not for our pindi vanatalu but can use Avacado for all other cooking. It has high boiling point over many oils

we don’t for Indian stuff other than peanut or x refined. We don’t have much options than buy in market for daily usage for reasonable prices.

We alternate between canola and vegetable oil for deep frying.
Mustard oil for non-veg.
sesame oil for Thai dishes.
Olive/Avacado oil for salads.

In the end it does not matter. None of us know how it impacts unless you are tracking regularly. Make sure your cholesterol is low. Get it around 150
