Caste Angle – A lot of the negativity seems to stem from caste-related issues. People felt that some groups behaved in a way that sidelined or looked down upon others, which created resentment. Since Amaravati is located in a region tied to one caste, and the party that pushed for it is also led by that caste, it amplified those perceptions.

Lack of Visible Progress – Despite being in power for five years, not much concrete development happened on the ground. There was a lot of hype with presentations and grand designs, but people didn’t see the promised infrastructure or results. That gap between promise and delivery fueled disappointment.

Political Rivalry – Another part of the backlash comes from party politics. Those opposed to the party that promoted Amaravati naturally extended their criticism toward the project, regardless of its merit.

Real Estate Factor – Locals who benefited from the real estate boom around Amaravati flaunted their gains, which didn’t sit well with many others. This added to the feeling that the project was enriching a select few rather than the wider population.

So overall, caste dynamics, lack of progress, political rivalry, and the real estate hype all seem to have contributed to the trolling and negativity around Amaravati.
