Unfortunately, it is a lifelong condition, but in many cases, it may go into remission with age. However, it may still come back later in life as the underlying pathology never goes away.

The child will need to use the medication as prescribed and as and when needed. Usually, it gets better with age.

I had and have since childhood

it’s suffering

but manageable with inhaler/steroid

best treatment is to identify root cause first

ex: i used to get when i breath fine dust or chilled air

complex part is to identify what triggers it

its not a disease but a defect in body

lungs get irritated and swell when they get what they don’t like

I manage without medicine most of the time but it happens couple of times a year and I use medicine immediately
