Sharmila’s Son Raja Reddy Entry Into Politics?

 

The YS family is completely divided and disconnected when it comes to the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh. While Jagan is leading YSR Congress, his sister Sharmila is heading the Congress party. Their mother Vijayamma, meanwhile, has remained inactive in politics.

In this backdrop, something interesting seems to be happening with the possible arrival of another YS family member into AP politics.

Jagan’s nephew and Sharmila’s son, Raja Reddy, made a notable public appearance today as he visited the Kurnool onion market along with his mother. Before this outing, Raja Reddy also took the blessings of his grandmother Vijayamma, which is being seen as a sign of his commitment to entering politics in the near future.

Recently, a video of Raja Reddy addressing the Christian community, similar to his father and well-known evangelist Anil, went viral on social media. This sparked political debates about the young man’s possible entry into AP politics.

Raja Reddy carries the masculine legacy of the YS family and is naturally expected to appeal to a considerable base of YS family supporters. On top of that, he is an educated youngster with a commanding personality.

At a time when Sharmila is alleging that Jagan illegally took control of ancestral properties belonging to her children, including Raja Reddy, his recent public activity has led to many discussions.

Political analysts suggest that until now, Jagan has been considered the sole male heir to the YS legacy. If Raja Reddy steps into politics, this equation could change. With his imposing presence and being the grandson of YSR, he has strong political weight.

While there is still no official confirmation about Raja Reddy’s political entry, his increased public appearances could hint at his future plans in Andhra Pradesh politics.
