[12:21 PM, 9/8/2025] : No more visa stamping visits to Canada, Mexico or Bahamas or etc.
[12:22 PM, 9/8/2025] : Anyone that’s in US (residents) needs visa stamping should go to India for stamping.
[12:25 PM, 9/8/2025]  Also foreign students are not allowed to do the same degree more than once.
E.g double masters.. etc

This is part of the new D/S elimination proposal that was published last month and is at the "comments" stage now: 2025-16554.pdf

This will apply to students who are already in the US with D/S as well.

The expenses are peanuts... for the ones who are making $70 - $100 per hour using the CPT.

According to these new rules, at least for F1 visas, the DSOs cannot automatically extend the I20 end date anymore. After 4 years, they have to apply to the USCIS for an extension of stay (EOS). If they reject it, they have to go back to their home country and reapply. So, even PhD students should apply for EOS in the middle of their program.

Em peanuts? Easy ga oka $25-30,000 avvadhu course ki? Adhi kooda CPT shouldn't exceed 12 months.

Ee CPT meedha FT evadu ivvaru. Corp contracts consultancies nunchi ichina burnout will be heavy and probably not worth it.
