nuvvu single meal thinna, 4 meals thinna all it boil down to your calorie intake and calorie burning. Nenu paina diet chesthunna, but not able to lose any weight endhuku ante weekends edho party or get together lo extra calories thinadam valla my calorie deficit for weekdays are not working out.

No, both are not the same.  Calorie intake and calorie burning are one thing and frequency of eating meals is another.

Cutting down on the frequency of meals will push your body into fasting state. Extended fasting will improve your insulin sensitivity, LDL levels. Autophagy kicks in as well.

pre-diabetics ee diet tinte assam ye, I will tell why

Lunch: cooked white rice - full carbs - almost like taking sugar

watermelon - glycemic index more than sugar itself so don't eat it if you are pre-diabetic or have high blood glucose levels

same with 1tsp sugar, replace it with stevia , allulose or something  to avoid sugar spikes

Plain yogurt - good but yogurt will have cholesterol, so eating daily will increase your levels, If you have low cholesterol it should be ok

also, any diary will increase your cholesterol levels, I know we can't avoid it but mentioning its not a super good health choice, I can't avoid it despite knowing that it increases cholesterol levels

blue berries - mid glyecemic index - somewhat better than something like banana or watermelon but I would probably replace this with black berries or avocado if you need a fruit

eggs, salad and chicken are the good items in this list, protein drink is good as long as it does not have sugar, lot of them have hidden loaded sugars which should be avoided

not a personal critique on you, just sharing my thoughts on diet, I did a lot of research on these over the past 1 year and wanted to share

idanta kadu listen to your body, andariki common - dont consume excess carbs, sugars, too much protein koodamanchidi kadu, drink enough water or fluids, move your body or walk atleast reasonably, cut extra processed junk, use quality cooking oils

seasonal fruits and veggies, legumes, leafy vegetables, nuts are some good choices,

avocado, eggs, limited oatmeal are some commonly used breakfast foods

this diet will not let you lose weight, as mentioned avoid carbs as much as you can, go keto I mean, this will trigger your fat loss, as long as you consume sugars/carbs it will be difficult to lose weight

I know we can not avoid some carbs in diary , yogurt etc but try as much as you can

you will drop weight then

Evaraina chesthunnara DB lo? At What time you are eating in the day. Em thintunnaru one meal? Koncham tips cheppi punyam kattukondi babayya

I eat twice a day. 14-8 rule. I have my two meals within 8 hours (lunch+dinner) and then fast for atleast 14 hours before having the meal next day.

Eating one meal is bit more challenging, but who knows if your body accommodates it, it's better.

If you're a meat eater, eat meat, dairy fats, lentils, vegetable but cut down on refined carbs as much as possible, meaning reduce polished white rice, if you can't avoid, add red rice to it (50 white : 50 red). If you eat roti, add raagi flour to it as well.

No problem boy, thanks for correcting me and appreciate your input. Also I am not any close to pre-diabetic. My blood marks are good for the last few years in physicals

Lunch: 150 Gms cooked rice anedhi very minimal kada, adhi kooda thinakunda antey you need to go all Keto kada? What are the options

Tea without sugar ki ellali emo (did it for last few years, but malli with 1 spoon of sugar start chesa)

Will consider taking off the watermelon from diet then

Avocado thintude, but half avocado is 120 calories which do not make sense

Protein powder is just 5g sugar for the scoop
