Then It Started Offering God’s Help in Getting a Visa. - WSJ The first time I remember going to this temple - it was barely there. No rush, it was very quiet but this was a few decades ago before its popularity. The next time I went - it was absolutely crazy -the temple courtyard was teeming with literally hundreds if not thousands of people. Did anyone of you visit this temple and perform the 108 circumambulations around the temple after you secured the visa? 2 1 Quote

It is a temple which has great history Before 2000’s, no one knew about this temple apart from locals. 3/4th of the present temple structure was locked and unable to access because of no maintenance. Only the main sanctum sanctorum was open and had barely any devotees apart from locals. Indeed it has great history. 2000’s time lo engineering colleges poragallaki dating adda vuntunde…. Most people do not know but side entrance temple wall half wall kulipoi vuntunde…it was repaired later 1 Quote

It is a temple which has great history I agree with you - it was not a "failing" temple - it was simply a temple without the fanfare with which it is associated now. Of course they need a "headline" to catch attention - so I am guessing that's what it was. Quote
