Though  I am not happy with Modi on certain things. But greatness of him is not something which can be understated.

• He is the definition of a politician. Everything is fair in Raj-neeti.
• He was one of the first to have effectively used social media propaganda to discredit his opposition leader. He built himself into a strong leader, sidelining all those who competed.
• He showed Gujarat as the model, what he could do. He definitely changed the way India transformed in the last 2 decades. PV Narasimha rao paved the way, but he continued to build on it.
• Built a clean politician image that he will eradicate corruption and get Swiss money back. He proved to be a typical politician, being a puppet in the hands of Ambanis/Adanis.
• Losing people's support now but only surviving on weak opposition
• Did a lot of good and changed laws that no one could even think of.

Overall, he did well and did a lot of good than bad.

Yes I agree on many things… but of late foreign policy is failing big time.

Even Bangladesh is slipping away… if China takes control, they will occupy Bdesh and get access to Bay of Bengal.

Thats the last nail in the coffin for India

he has done reforms like no other leader

he delivered welfare for poor like no other leader earlier

best achievement is massive improvement in toilet coverage and usage of LPG for poor and using digital tech to deliver welfare

there have been short comings like not able to decrease dependence on china (imports have only increased manifold)

on top of above the biggest difference from 1990s to now is the general sentiment about being hindu 

1990s lo politicians would openly say they wont allow construction of Ram temple and talk as if being hindu is bad word

No politician can dare talk like that today
