As you know for now this proclamation is only for 1 year, and may extend how this works.

But meanwhile, just like tariffs, he will backtrack, may do one of the following three.

He may extend the deadline.

He will change the fees to $50000 yearly instead of $100000.

He will change the fees to all H1 Visa holders including the existing H1 holders in USA to $25000. This way it will force employers to hire local, and govt can collect enormous amount - 25000 * 7300000 = 18 Billion/year

As of right now, it appears he doesn't want to impact anyone already in the US. He wants to stop new people from entering on H-1B.

fair enough and contracting,evc model peeki only fulltime employees are eligible for h1 ani change chesthe most of the scrap will be gone 

but the big elephant is outsourcing, HIRE act implement chesthe it can be contained as well
