Our desi employers will still find a loophole for transfers. Without transfer or new filings..existing h1b employees will be 30 years a slave. 

 

 

 

If a employer shop is shut..then gone case..he will take passengers of the ship with it.

 

 

 

What if filing fee for 1 485 perm is raised to 100kfor eb2 or eb3 category tomorrow ?

 

 

 

Yes, an H-1B "transfer" is essentially a new H-1B petition that the new employer must file with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on your behalf, as the H-1B visa is employer-specific. This new petition requires a new Labor Condition Application (LCA) and Form I-129, even though you are already in H-1B status, because the new employer is sponsoring you for a different position.

but USCIS statement says doesn't apply to aliens who already have valid h1b status. isn't that contradicting antunna @sunnyleone4u

But it also says it applies to new petitions meaning a transfer is a new petition
