However, it's been 8 months, it's still pending. He recently got an offer and they are ready to sponsor h1b(cap exempt). Initially the idea was to do consular processing, however after the 100000k executive order, the university is mentioning that rule applies to every kind of h1b. Is it possible to change status from h4 to h1b within US even when the h4 case is pending? Quote

Another option is to try for J1 or O1 1 Quote

The prepared to leave US for good and took every loan possible including vehicles, electronis, fast credit on top of carefully aligned credit cards and personal loans — which totalled 7-8 Crore INR and now settled for life in Hyd.
