Without clarity on what EO is, why would the companies even attempt? Ee chinna logic ela miss ayyaru janalu? Why is this even a surprise. It takes time before they analyze how USCIS is processing these.

Yup. Same story in every company. They are saying frock it. Not worth all this BS. They will rather outsource and make more money if they can’t find skillset  here

EO isn't clear and further notices aren't clear. until someone is  forced to file due to their current h1 expiring, no one has clarity if 100K applies to them. inka new applications antava, companies don't want to risk it now knowing it applies.

nenu check chesthuna, naa friends & known circle lo in case evaranna file chesara this week ani, one friend said his documents collected and all preparation was done to file this week, but the attorney held back. But ippudu next week lo file cheyadaniki attorneys ok annar anta, next week lo filing, for extension. visa expiring Dec-25. Lets see.

Q1 is where the layoffs happen, I expect companies to start layoffs during this time next year like they have been doing for the past few years but this time they may focus on eh okati first 

already seeing a blanket 'we found another candidate' response in Linkedin for some jobs, I'm assuming it to be because ok eh okati, looks like they are not even considering eh okati now for most positions

I predict companies may not renew unless you are critical and will reduce overall dependency in the coming few years

Offshoring to GCCs could increase in the short term, dependency on contractors could be another thing that could be a short term solution companies look into

few things I observed in market:

Latin america tech market is growing , they have the advantages of same time zone and being cheaper , they are grabbing some market, it could be an alternative

already saw increased tech hiring in some zones in middle east like Dubai etc for some companies, it could accelerate

there are also some low cost european countries supporting engineering work

companies will diversify and reduce ek okati dependencies going forward, unless you are super critical 

If offshoring tax becomes reality, then its game over for Indian IT, prepare to see mass layoffs
