The equivalent version of ours for these is classical dance or dance to Indian music. Shoving religious pujalu, bajanalu is totally different. Dont you see the difference? 

Erri tejams showing political flags in convocation ceremony is same as doing poojalu, bajanalu in time square in my opinion. Doesn't matter even if tejams took permission to show political flags, Your perception might be different.
