This guy is an idiot.. 

I am against attributing the Indian independence movement entirely to Gandhi. Lot of contributors and they did this over several decades. At the same time, his efforts and contributions to the movement are really great!

India was a big mess during the freedom struggle. The fight was limited to mostly the some of the North Indian states and it was pretty much non existent in the south until the 30’s.. it was mostly against the local nawabs.

Gandhi was able to navigate through lot of issues, too many parties and factions trying to pull it in different directions, handling the nuisance of Muslim league, religious disturbances, famines, natural disasters, uneducated population. It wasn’t easy! 

Having said that, India didn’t get independence bcoz of the freedom struggle. We got it bcoz of Britain’s poor performance and huge losses in the 2nd world war. 40’s and 50’s lo chala countries ki independence vachindi

What is your opinion on his points like celibacy , denying treatment to his wife?, his attitude of discriminating one community , his expectation when facing persecution etc.
