I bought VOO for $7000 in 2024 using the funds from my Traditional IRA account

i like to sell the VOO and buy a different ETF

Please help with below -

Will the money come back to my Traditional IRA account once I sell it ?
do I need to declare/ pay taxes on the gains once I sell ?

Tradional IRA account is with Fidelity in case that matters

Taxes , you have to pay .

money will be in the same account. ( MOney will come back)

move ( rollover) that to ROTH IRA, then for future transaction you don't have to pay taxes.

OGs correct me if I am wrong.

nope no need to pay any taxes on gains as long as you dont withdraw .. traditional always stays on pre tax bucket and you only pay taxes when you withdraw or convert to roth
