Yes..state jobs are serious about outside work

Not only state or federal jobs. Every single firm has rules and regulations regarding a full time employee pursuing outside employment. Most if not always, HR can be approached for such scenarios. Unless employees want to work for a competitor or so, they may be allowed witht the understanding that their regular job is not impacted. Varies from place to place.

You can configure it to access all systems and they can easily analyze data across all govt systems to give a unified picture. currently every department has its own system and not shared with others. They do that only when needed based on a case.

that are going to do social profile.
Palantir has done a lot of contracts with govt recently and one of them is this.

This is scary. E rakanga it may not be that hard for DHS to know if someone had done more than one udyogam.

Looks like he didn’t steal anything.. they calculated that the govt lost $50K over the period bcoz he worked somewhere else at the same time.. not sure how they came up with that number.. 🤔🤔

Think about this. Every year a lot of people do fraud with IRS. They dont have all the resources in the world to do investigation. They have a cut off amount and years of fraud. They go after ppl where the amount is more. Their time for investigation (Calculate $) has to be less than the amount they are after.

Now with all systems integrated, its very easy for all these agencies to get a report. Now actions depends on govt policies.

A lot of people dont know that immigration at borders gets hard and easy depending on the need for low level jobs. Think of hospital/hotel industry, etc. They ease border immigration and let ppl come in when they need these jobs to be filled.

Everything has a context and govt policies.

Pretty much every company is requiring FTs to sign a document every year saying they are not doing a 2nd job. They have to disclose if they are doing. Most people do not report. It’s grounds for lying and they can easily fire and even file a case (corporates usually let someone go, that’s all). State and federal seem to be different. May be orders from higher ups.
I still think he must have done something wrong to piss them off to take such action

I think someone might have reported him specifically

we should also not support folks who do these multiple jobs as a community, they are being unethical

I know some folks here in this db argue about capability vankaya etc but its still unethical as your time is split between two or three companies, some companies do allow you do other activities outside of working hours so as long as folks satisfy that condition and that outside income is not a violation of immigration rules they should be good

Working a second, full-time job while claiming to be working for the State is an abuse of public resources, including taxpayer dollars

Ask the policy makers or those companies.
