Peddayana Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I went to a builder, they tried a lot to push FHA loan saying the downpayment is low etc, I did not take it. I knew this is is not something visa holders should not do as this seems like a Federal benefit, I was 100% correct in my thinking and steering clearing of this despite the pressure from builder. Also, based on my calculations, even though with FHA you are paying a very low downpayment, other fees eat up the pie. Lot of folks overlook the fees that come with this type of loan. 1 Quote
