F1 students are safe. Sai ram.

New rule is only  impacting TCS, cts and infosys from India.

F1 students who reside in the US and maintain their sevip status are not impacted. COS from f1 to h1b dont require 100k fee.  Ensure your opt and stem opt are maintained with proper pay stubs and genuine employment.

This fee applies to:

Any petition filed for beneficiaries outside the U.S. after September 21st.

Any petition filed requesting consular processing even for beneficiaries within the U.S.

Any extension/amendment/COS petition where the USCIS finds out the beneficiary is not eligible for that request ( for eg.the beneficiary didn't maintain the status, the petition is approved without I-94, the beneficiary departed the U.S. before adjudication

All countries. Basically this is big loss to witch companies who doesn't hire locally in USA

Witch companies need to hire F1 opt students. Or sponsor their employees to do F1 study and then sponsor h1b. This will be win win for all. Everyone who wants to arrive in US will first get a job experience in india

Under this system, a Level 4 wage would grant four entries into the lottery, a Level 3 would receive three, Level 2 would get two, and Level 1 would get one entry.

L1 visa scrutiny has increased.. and getting approval also became tough.. old l1 visas are fine.
