Recently, illegal fireworks were set off at Church Street Park, damaging the cricket field and leaving behind a significant amount of litter. The incident jeopardizes community safety and negatively impacts local sports programs and park visitors.

Anyone with information about those responsible is asked to contact the Morrisville Police Department 

While we appreciate the community interest in celebrating holidays, the private use of fireworks is prohibited in Morrisville parks, greenways, and other public property. This ban includes the use of firecrackers and pyrotechnics which are illegal to use without a permit. The rule is enforced due to safety concerns and noise ordinances.

The firing, discharging, or ignition of fireworks or other pyrotechnics (except with a permit as set forth in the Code of Ordinances, Article II, Section 18-48) requires a permit subject to the approval of the Town of Morrisville and Wake County Fire Marshal (Code of Ordinances, Article II, Section 18-44).

Be aware that certain fireworks are illegal to sell or possess in North Carolina. These include firecrackers, ground spinners, bottle rockets, Roman candles, and aerial fireworks.

I never said celebrating the culture is wrong, I am against make it a nonsense rather than a celebration.

Too much is not good. Despite of what’s going on in recent times , us Indians still not learning anything. I bet, on of these days,something bad is going to happen.

I can agree if fear of life is the concern here. But his comments are not about that. He mocks culture and celebration while claiming he is not. So, trying to have a reasonable conversation even though I know him in real life. Appudu ilantivi discuss cheyamu.
