EyBisa Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 A 60-year-old man accused in an attempted rape case involving a minor girl reportedly died by suicide late Wednesday night near Komati Cheruvu on the outskirts of Tuni town. The accused has been identified as Tataki Narayana Rao. According to police, the incident took place around 10:30 p.m. while he was being transported to be produced before a magistrate. Rao requested a stop to use the toilet, and when the police vehicle halted near the lake, he allegedly jumped into the water. Police believe it to be a case of suicide. The body was later recovered from the lake. A detailed investigation is underway. Quote
