And invest where there is lot of safety margin. And Go long term instead of playing options. Also make sure that you listen to atleast their most recent conference call from Investor relations page. Follow only to get data , analyse on your own. Don't depend on anyone for analysis. Get a proper framework setup in your mind. Here is my framework 1. Does MACRO economic factors support the company? 2. What is the IDEA ? 3. Valuation 4. Management  If any of those points aren't satisfied, I move on to a different company.   We do hours of research to buy a silly laptop. We should do lot more when investing in a company. 1 Quote

There will always be undervalued companies. Even during dot com bubble, Warren buffett was quietly buying non tech companies for cheap. There will always be opportunities.
