The facility was inaugurated on Wednesday by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, marking another milestone in Hyderabad’s rise as a global hub for technology and business innovation. Spread across 1.56 lakh square feet, the new centre will serve as McDonald’s Global Hub for Innovation and Enterprise Operations, supporting functions like technology, data analytics, finance, and other key corporate services for its worldwide operations. The Hyderabad GCC will create over 1,200 jobs, offering opportunities for skilled professionals in cutting-edge domains. The project is also expected to boost local industries, including real estate, logistics, and services, adding momentum to Telangana’s economic growth. Founded in 1940, McDonald’s serves millions of customers across 100+ countries every day. In India, it operates through two master franchisees, blending global standards with local flavours. With this new hub, McDonald’s reinforces its focus on innovation, sustainability, and technology-driven growth from one of India’s most dynamic cities. Quote
