Massive layoffs at Amazon — entire teams gone within seconds

My friend from Amazon told me how she saw an entire team, including their manager, get laid off right in front of her eyes — all within seconds. The way they had to leave the office was honestly heartbreaking.

These layoffs are massive; entire orgs are being wiped out. The testing teams in Q3 and Q4 were the first to go. They collected company laptops on the spot, and that was it.

It’s rough out there right now.

Amzn employees are in much better position. Telisina athanu got laid off. 3 years work chesadu and he got 5+ months severance and all the stocks vested which is huge amount. And Amazon nunchi kabatti will get better preference during next job trails

Amazon ninchi kabatti preference era is gone anna. Ours is a second tier company and also dont pay too much like tech companies and even we are seeing lot of amazon candidates coming for IT job interviews. This was happening since last 6 months and I think it will increase a lot now. One highlight candidate was Harvard Comp Sci graduate and worked in Amazon for 2 years and got laid off. We were surprised alanti candidate is also interested in our company.

Ya what I meant was…alanti candidates apply chesinappudu they might get preference over others ga. Takkuva pay ki vastunappudu. Of course end of the day skill set matters. But usually peer pressure valla amazon lo bagane update avutharu
