We are a U.S. Citizen family living in Washington. My daughter, who is 19 years old, is studying for her Bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa.

I introduced her to an Indian family. The man is 47 years old, married, and has a child. Now he has an L-1 visa problem and must return to India. He went to my daughter’s campus in Tampa and is pressuring her to marry him to get a U.S. Green Card.

I want to know what actions I can take to stop him.

This is not true. If at all it is, ikkada citizens ayyi first cops ki call chestaru. Pichi pullayya la ga expats lo post cheyadu.

my colleague was a gujju, he said if my bro's visa will not be approved, naa pellam ni pelli chesukuni US vachesthadu GC  kosam antunde. there are gujju ppl who marry college going kids in their community just for GC

Bhayya neeki cops meedha Chala good feeling unnatu unnai commendable.

However know that cops here don't care about anything at all except for domestic violence cases where someone claims to have hit someone or killed someone. The other stuff where cops do their job is traffic stops and any associated mishaps with controlling people after the stop. 

For everything else, just report raaskoni potharu. End of story. Kidnapping attempts, burglaries, home invasions, eeda pula thisi atu eyyaru. Only when they are spoon fed with evidence like videos, photos, poi cute fellows arrest chestharu anthe. Otherwise thurpu thirgi dandam pettude.
