Chinese govt. is pushing so much subsidies to BYD that even exported models also gets subsidy. xiaomi Evs - SU7 model manufacturing costs more than 50k. but they sell it for 30k. only due to intense chinese govt subsidies. Rivian CEO recently revealed it afther their team tore down SU7 for studying tech. Quote
