MaddyUsa Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Amaravati is getting fresh new greenfield airport within the CRDA corridor which is much bigger than Bhogapuram Airport.. Currently Location finalization process is going on... For this reason they dont have plans to expand the vijayawada airport at gannavaram further.. It will temporarily be used as primary airport but later going forward once Amaravati also gets the new bigger airport like bhogapuram & shamshabad, they are going to dismantle or use this airport for courier flights...
