All they care about is the monthly EMI. With 50-yr mortgage, EMI would reduce. It will lure some buyers. But home prices are'nt going to increase due to this. Govt will let home prices fall to control inflation. They will def announce some support to industry next year when its at levels they want. Quote

I talked to multiple people who are on H1B, do not own a primary home, but invested in 2-3 investment homes. All underwater now. Not getting proper rents. Maintenance nightmare.
