If they are better than H1Bs then go through the same process anna. You can say H1Bs are not talented but there was some vetting for them. Why be so against vetting? If they are good they will qualify. Just because I am Indian doesn’t mean I have to cheat or see cheating all the time. My internal dharma won’t agree. I am happy with Indian family having only one job by not cheating and an American family getting that job. For many years Indians had good reputation. All that is going because of cheaters. No need to support them. Let other countries do their scams. One day they will pay the price.

I might have been personally affected by H4 ead multiple times since they don’t need sponsorship and have faced numerous rejections and replacements by them. Still I support it. Every dependent should be independent when it comes to career. It’s for collective greater good.

Today they are H4 ead, tomorrow they will be GC. What’s your point? They will enter workforce anyhow by the end of day. And vetting is done while interviewing right? If it is purely political then that company has to implement better guardrails.

If interview system was that transparent then no need of having high standards for H1B. You are bringing highly qualified people mostly on H1B then why give free hit to their spouses? Very few will be GC these days. They can do jobs according to their qualifications not according to their husband’s qualifications.

Standards are set for job and h1bs apply for them. H1bs are not applying for mechanic jobs. And interviews should be done at the job standards. Interview process is same for h1b or h4 ead or even citizen.

First of all....H1Bs should be granted GCs within a year or 2.

Everyones focus should be in increasing the minimum wage levels and granting gc. The EB1a loophole needs to be closed as well. Both these things are being worked on by Trump admin.

Instead of attacking the problem collectively, we Indians as usual fight amongst ourselves. Its in our blood.

First be on the right side and then talk about Dharma.

As per Dharma, either H4EADs and their spouses who are on H1B should already have GC or both of them should have been in India. Whatever middle route you are talking about is invalid.

Why GC ivvadam is separate argument?

As per your dharma, they are GC holders which makes your argument moot.

Also..Cheating and H4EAD are 2 separate issues. Dont mix them.

If the diversity guys took IT jobs just like H4EADs....all desis would be crying over diversity visas.

We are just fighting for crumbs due to high unemployment - both locals and immigrants.. locals are hating that they have to fight with us and we are winning.. this will only get worse as the unemployment increases due to bad economy and AI.. 

IT working Americans have a bigger voice in social media and political circles.. they are lobbying hard to show the injustices being done to them.. Indians are shown as boogeyman here.. it doesn’t matter whether you are on h1 or h4 EAD or opt/cpt.. we don’t have to cry on each other as one group has an advantage.. we are all together..

even Indian GC’s and citizens will face discrimination very soon at work places
