House rates పెరుగుతాయి . Atlanta ఆంటీస్ all happy. They can sell their houses for 2024 rates.

if im able to port my old interest rate i would buy a 5000 sqft East facing home right away... such demand could make house prices go up right? let my existing tiny place for new home buyers...@~`

Majority of homes are held by senior citizens who would downsize.

Majority of the homes are owned by institutional investors which are rented.. last 5-6 years lo companies bought a lot of homes..

old ppl are living in their primary homes.. many ppl don’t want to move out and lose their

Nope. Institutional investors are very less compared to mom and pop investors.

If you consider big investors who also own condos, townhomes and single family homes, if you take out rural areas and include only suburbs and urban areas, they own a much higher %.. in some areas they own up to 30% of the rental homes..

House prices will increase anna.. because lot of people are married to their current homes because of low mortgage rates.. thanks to covid.. 

people will upgrade easily which can create demand. When demand is more, prices will go up.
