A 23-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh was found dead in her apartment in the United States on November 7, leaving her family and friends in deep shock. The student, identified as Rajyalakshmi (Raji) Yarlagadda, had recently graduated from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and was actively looking for a job after completing her studies, The Times of India reported. According to her cousin, Chaitanya YVK, who launched a GoFundMe campaign from Denton, Texas, Raji had been suffering from a severe cough and chest pain for two to three days before her death. On the morning of November 7, she reportedly did not respond to her alarm, and her friends later discovered that she had passed away in her sleep. The family’s farmland, crops, and livestock form their only source of income. Raji, the youngest in her family, had hoped to ease their financial burden once she began working. And no, you don't need insurance to go to the ED. All patients will be screened for life-threatening conditions and treated and stabilized in the ED, regardless of insurance status. 1 Quote
