Wanted to get a table for 4 at a restaurant (BJs, Chillies, lazy dog). Called all of them and the wait time is 1 hour. Finally decided to go to chillies and was shocked to see the people waiting to be seated. 
Ultimately got some Togo and came back.

This is where its getting crazy man. One side no jobs GenZ is broke antaaru. Inkoka side emo all hotels, flights and malls are full or always busy. Dont know what to believe.

I think it depends from area to area. Most of us live in good neighborhoods. So we may not see much broke. 

But in general Job market for tech has been slow and there has been a lot of layoffs.

Credit availability is still easy. That is what is messing up. People spending what they can never pay back

That will become a bigger problem down the lane when they cant repay back.

Companies serving Sub-Prime customers (under served people) -> Quarterly results are very good. I am surprised. It means they are doing well.

Economy restaurants will not have any impact of recession or inflation. Try premium ones you will see the difference.

I rarely go to restaurants other than Indian except for happy hour. Buffalo Wild Wings and BJs favs along with lazy dog.

I am very well aware that restaurants being busy is not a measure of economy.

Got surprised with the crowd. I did not expect that much crowd at all the 3 places.
