Undilaemanchikalam Posted November 22 Report Posted November 22 Serious questions are being raised about the new Hyderabad Industrial Lands Transformation Policy (HILTP). Industrial lands in Balanagar, Jeedimetla, Sanathnagar & Azamabad are allegedly being offered for just 30% of the SRO value — even though SRO rates are already far below market price. Because of this, people are warning that the state could lose huge amounts of public revenue and that the policy might benefit only select groups. Regardless of political sides, it’s important for citizens to ask: Why such discounted valuation? Why the urgency in regularisation? Why not open auctions for fair public pricing? How will the state ensure transparency? Public land is public wealth. Any major policy must be debated openly and handled responsibly. Quote
