southyx Posted November 27 Report Posted November 27 Andhra news: 400 ఎకరాల్లో రిలయన్స్ డేటా సెంటర్ 1,000 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యం రూ.98 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు డిజిటల్ కనెక్షన్తో జాయింట్ వెంచర్ 2030 నాటికి విశాఖలో అందుబాటులోకి ఈనాడు - అమరావతి విశాఖపట్నం మూడు నాలుగేళ్లలో డేటాసెంటర్ల హబ్గా మారనుంది. ప్రపంచ దిగ్గజ సంస్థలు డేటాసెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుకు విశాఖకు వరుస కట్టాయి. రిలయన్స్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్ సంస్థ డిజిటల్ కనెక్షన్స్తో కలిసి జాయింట్ వెంచర్గా 1,000 మెగావాట్ల డేటాసెంటర్ను విశాఖలో 400 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. రూ.98వేల కోట్లతో ఏఐ ఆధారిత డేటాసెంటర్ను 2030 నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి తేనుంది. నవంబరు 14, 15 తేదీల్లో విశాఖలో నిర్వహించిన భాగస్వామ్య సదస్సులో ఆ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు సీఎంను కలిసి ప్రతిపాదనపై చర్చించారు. డేటా సెంటర్ ఏర్పాటుకు అవసరమైన భూములు, ఇతర అంశాలపై తుది చర్చల అనంతరం ప్రభుత్వంతో రిలయన్స్ ఒప్పందాన్ని కుదుర్చుకుంది. రూ.1.33 లక్షల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులతో 1,000 మెగావాట్ల ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ ఏర్పాటుకు గూగుల్ ఇప్పటికే ప్రభుత్వంతో ఒప్పందాన్ని కుదుర్చుకుంది. మరో అంతర్జాతీయ దిగ్గజసంస్థ బ్రూక్ఫీల్డ్ సైతం రూ.1.10 లక్షల కోట్లతో విశాఖలో డేటాసెంటర్ ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రభుత్వంతో ఒప్పందం చేసుకుంది. సిఫీ టెక్నాలజీస్ రూ.16వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడితో విశాఖలో డేటా సెంటర్ కాంప్లెక్స్ ఏర్పాటుకు భూమిపూజ నిర్వహించింది. డేటాసెంటర్ ప్రత్యేకతలు విశాఖలో రిలయన్స్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్ లిమిటెడ్ 400 ఎకరాల్లో డేటాసెంటర్ను ఏర్పాటు చేయబోతోంది. గుజరాత్లోని జామ్నగర్లో ఉన్న 1,000 మెగావాట్ల డేటాసెంటర్కు అనుబంధంగా ఇది పనిచేస్తుంది. మాడ్యులర్ సాంకేతికతల గ్రాఫిక్ ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్ (జీపీయూ), టెన్సర్ ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్ (టీసీయూ), ఏఐ ప్రాసెసర్ల ద్వారా డేటా నిల్వచేసేలా అత్యాధునిక సాంకేతికతతో వివిధ సంస్థల అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా వాటిని సంస్థ తీర్చిదిద్దనుంది. సబ్స్టేషన్లు, అవసరమైన విద్యుత్ ఫీడర్లతో భవిష్యత్తు దశాబ్ద ఆవిష్కరణలకు వీలుగా దీన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ఆసియాలో అత్యంత శక్తిమంతమైన ఏఐ మౌలిక సదుపాయాలున్న నెట్వర్క్లలో ఒకటిగా రిలయన్స్ డేటాసెంటర్ ఉండబోతోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. లక్ష్యంలో సగం పూర్తి విశాఖలో 6,000 మెగావాట్ల డేటాసెంటర్లు ఏర్పాటుచేయాలన్నది ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యం. వాటిని 2030 నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి తేవాలని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే గూగుల్, రిలయన్స్, బ్రూక్ఫీల్డ్ కలిపి 3,000 మెగావాట్ల డేటాసెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుకు ముందుకొచ్చాయి. మరో మూడు ప్రముఖ అంతర్జాతీయ సంస్థలు ప్రభుత్వంతో సంప్రదింపులు జరుపుతున్నాయి. వాటికి అవసరమైన భూములు, ఇతర సదుపాయాలపై అధికారులు కసరత్తు చేస్తున్నారు. రాబోయే మూడు నెలల్లో వాటికీ అనుమతులు ఇచ్చేందుకు అధికారులు ప్రయత్నాలు ముమ్మరం చేశారు. రిలయన్స్ పెట్టుబడి సంతోషాన్ని కలిగిస్తోంది విశాఖలో 1,000 మెగావాట్ల హైపర్స్కేల్ డేటాసెంటర్ ఏర్పాటుకు రిలయన్స్-డిజిటల్ కనెక్షన్ జాయింట్ వెంచర్ రూ.98వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడి పెడుతుందన్న విషయాన్ని వెల్లడించడం సంతోషాన్ని కలిగిస్తోందని మంత్రి లోకేశ్ ఎక్స్లో పోస్ట్ చేశారు. విశాఖ భారతదేశ డేటా రాజధానిగా అవతరించబోతోందని పేర్కొన్నారు. I followed both. I suggest not to fall for this left/green crap in the US or the west. The govt policy and the companies going to invest there are taking care of environment concerns, most of the power generation is through renewable energy. That means with 1000 TW Capacity, maximum jobs in the long term will be around 200. Quote

Do you think India is same as the west? Why do you think Indians work for cheap rates when the west people work for higher rates? Its demand and supply. Basic economics. India needs to grab what ever opportunity it has to feed billion people. Money always flow from rich society to poor society over time due to gloalization. And these big data center companies pay huge taxes during the data center construction and maintenance. Do you think only 200 people are enough to construct massice 1GW data center? Think about the cement, steel and other raw materials needed to construct and the GST that comes out of that. Quote
